Saskatoon, Canada College Park Child Care Full time

**Must be able to provide a criminal record check with the Vulnerable Sector. Shifts are between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.**
- **High School diploma/GED equivalency required; College/University coursework in a culinary-related program preferred.**
- **Excellent written and verbal communication skills.**
- **Experience in a daycare environment is mandatory.**
- **Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.**:

- Comfortable in a supervisory role.
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the mediums of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
- Maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music.
- Assess the developmental level of children.
- Maintain daycare supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow cleaning schedule.
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them.
- Prepare and serve snacks.
- Observe children and report observations to the supervisor.
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
