**Location: 3247 Appleby Line, Burlington, Ontario, Canada**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced multi-unit manager to join our team to provide outstanding customer service while managing profitable restaurants. As a District Manager/Area Coach you would be expected to:
- Lead the daily operations of 7-10 restaurants
- Train, develop and supervise 7-10 General Managers
- Oversee customer service standards as well as food safety requirements
- Oversee P & L responsibilities and manage financial results
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assist in developing marketing initiatives and ensure execution
- Execute all policies, procedures, systems while promoting ethical business practices and ensuring compliance with all federal and province laws.
- Analyze sales, labour, inventory and controllables on a continual basis and coach RGMs to take specific corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets; establish specific unit-level action plans where necessary.
- Train and mentor RGMs on financial analysis and profitability tips.
- Drive customer-focused culture by serving as a role model in resolving serious customer issues and training managers to meet or exceed customer service standards. Track, analyze and identify root causes of customer complaints and lead management team to implement systematic solutions.
- Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to standard.
- Implement operational procedures to ensure efficiency and continuity in restaurant operations.
- Ensure operational standards are consistent with corporate standards in areas of customer service, product quality, store operations, sales and marketing and employment practices.
- Manage the restaurant level People Planning Review to forecast staffing requirements and build bench in region.
- Lead performance management process for all management and hourly employees, ensuring adequate levels of performance feedback, timely performance appraisals, meaningful training and development planning and due process in resolving workplace disputes.
- Provide ongoing recognition of outstanding performance to motivate employees at all levels.
- Monitor the work environment in all units to ensure fair and equitable employee treatment as well as adherence to all company, provincial and federal workplace regulations.
- Oversee corporate and local marketing programs for the area and ensure completion and timely execution.
- Participate in product testing as required..
- Communicate and support any new initiative rollouts, as needed.
- Store locations are within 1-2hrs drive time of Burlington, ON.
**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION**:
- Completion of undergraduate degree, partial high school education with specialized training or equivalent experience
- You have at least 5-8 years of leadership experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry with responsibility for financial results.
- Managed multiple units. 2+ years of multi-unit experience, preferably in the pizza industry
