The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing Warehouse Management System (WMS) training data in the test (sandbox) environment to support on-site and off-site Team Member training. You will also support the Training Team with facilitating on-site training and online webinars across our multiple industry sectors (Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Automotive, etc.)
As a Training Coordinator, you will gain the necessary WMS functional skills to create WMS data to support Team Members training classes and you will also gain knowledge in principals in Adult facilitation and how to provide effective and fun training sessions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create training data that can be used for new warehouse start-ups and system upgrades
- Validate the quality and integrity of the data
- Liaise with business stakeholders to conduct effective training data specifications, priority, and timeline to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to fully understand the business processes and requirements supported by the WMS
- Work with WMS Subject Matter Experts to understand system functionality and update existing training materials to match.
- Collaborate with WMS Subject Matter Experts to ensure all learning content is updated on a regular basis to reflect current customer requirements, process, and technology changes
- Prepare and facilitate onsite and remote Warehouse Management Software and Standard Operational Process training where required
- Provide support to other training team members
- Work on-site and remotely during project stages, user acceptance testing, in-class training, and go-live support
- Development and preparation of training material based on provided documentation
- Solid written and proofreading abilities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of Supply Chain
- Previous experience as a Team Leader/Logistics Coordinator would be preferred
- Minimum 4 years of operational experience with strong working knowledge of Red Prairie (Blue Yonder) and Synapse.
- WMS experience (Receive, Putaway, Replenish, Pick, Stage and Load etc.) is a must

EDUCATION
- Highschool diploma or higher
- preferably in a technical discipline (computer science, computer engineering or information technology)
