**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Chair, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the organization’s programs, including the Barton Reading Program and a new French tutoring pilot program.

**In this role, the Coordinator will**:

- **Supervise the tutoring team,**ensuring quality and consistency in service delivery.
- **Oversee daily operations,**program schedules, and resources.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Program Coordination and Development
- Plan and organize tutoring sessions (scheduling, tutor assignments, room bookings, etc.).
- Supervise and support the tutoring teams (Barton Program and the French program) to ensure high-quality services.
- Maintain a small roster of students to develop and maintain tutoring skills.
- Communicate with parents.
- Identify and propose opportunities to expand existing programs or launch new initiatives.
- Establish and maintain connections with schools and local communities to promote and develop our offerings.

2. Administration and Operations
- Maintain up-to-date records and files related to programs and events (document management).
- Manage program materials (kits, books, tools) and ensure appropriate distribution and tracking.
- Oversee general administrative tasks for all programs, and handle other related duties as required.
- Attend Board of Directors’ meetings as needed.
- **Commitment**: Demonstrated passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and championing inclusion.
- **Education and Experience**: Degree or relevant experience in education, administration, or a related field. Project coordination or team management experience is an asset.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in English and French (bilingual level).
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple priorities, set deadlines, and meet targets.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; strong interpersonal abilities.
- **Team Spirit**: Able to collaborate effectively with tutors, the Board of Directors, partners, and volunteers.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Moncton, NB E1C 4Z3
