**Responsibilities**
- Assist in preparing construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms.
- Review construction drawings and technical documents to identify potential cost factors and risks.
- Support the review of contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments to ensure accurate pricing updates.
- Contribute to cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring budgets and identifying potential overruns early.
- Participate in bid meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors to secure projects.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bid documents, and related correspondence for transparency and future reference.
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, labor rates, and new estimating tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Basic understanding of construction estimating principles, including cost analysis and pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with estimating software
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
- Previous experience or exposure to construction site activities or construction management is a plus.
- Knowledge of contracts, project management processes, and cost control techniques within the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail when reviewing plans and preparing estimates.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate estimates, assumptions, and project requirements. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
