We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Assistant Grower** to support our growing team and contribute to our crop production processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing irrigation, fertilization, and environmental conditions for optimal plant health.
- Support climate, nutrition, and growth control adjustments to ensure top-quality crops.
- Conduct regular crop inspections, identifying pests, diseases, and implementing control measures.
- Help prepare production areas and manage space allocation for upcoming crops.
- Monitor and adjust EC and pH levels in soil and water to maintain proper plant nutrition.
- Maintain accurate records of monitoring and spraying activities in compliance with GCP export standards.
- Collaborate with the Grower and Production Manager on crop planning and scheduling.
- Assist in supervising greenhouse staff, providing guidance and training on best horticultural practices.
- Support routine inspections and maintenance of greenhouse equipment.
- Ensure adherence to WorkSafe BC Joint Health and Safety Regulations and greenhouse sanitation protocols.
- Stay informed about new horticultural techniques and industry advancements.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum** horticulture degree**:

- Strong understanding of irrigation, fertilization, and climate control strategies.
- Experience handling fertilizers, pesticides, and plant growth regulators (PGRs) safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in greenhouse conditions, including varying temperatures and humidity levels.
