Dental Receptionist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist/Hygiene Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing team. Someone dependable, flexible and able to work well with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
Schedule and confirm hygiene schedules and ensure all open time slots are filled
Conduct chart audits and coordinate hygiene charting during daily chart reviews
Manage recalls to keep hygienists booked, including following up with patients overdue for hygiene appointments
Handle and follow up on hygiene no-shows and cancellations, ensuring they are rebooked as soon as possible
Manage the short-notice cancellation list
Build strong relationships with hygienists to ensure trust and loyalty
Process patient records, billing, and insurance claims
Handle dental billing and insurance submissions with accuracy
Facilitate communication between the dental team and patients regarding treatment plans
Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a dental office environment
Knowledge of dental billing and insurance processes is required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of dental software (we use Curve)
Experience in scheduling and coordinating patient care
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
