Are you a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with a proven track record as a Controller? We’re seeking a highly skilled Controller to take charge of financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an immediate contract opportunity, with a great chance for the role to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and working closely with senior management to help drive business growth. If you have a strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and possess excellent problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar senior financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
