The Foam Shop is a 100% Canadian owned and family operated business since 1974. Starting from a single store in North Vancouver, we now have 13 stores across the lower mainland and have Canada's largest retail inventory of comfort products -- and we're still growing.

**Responsibilities**:
Cut and shape foam products to the specifications of our customers
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Build productive trust relationships with customers

**Requirements**:
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Physically fit
Customer service focus
Basic mathematics understanding including fractions and decimals
Strong communication, organization and multi-tasking abilities

We provide all training, offer competitive rates, medical and dental benefits, and an opportunity to excel in our growing company. Store hours are 9:30am - 5:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday, so enjoy evenings, Sundays & Mondays away from work

Sales associates start at $16.00 /h and can earn up to $18.00/h by advancing their skillsets and sales volume. We also offer sales rewards and medical and dental benefits after a year of employment.

- The Foam Shop is a very creative and custom service environment. We handle customer's drawings, dimensions and templates to then measure and cut their shapes of foam within the closest 1/4inch. We use steel rulers and a small handheld foam cutter. Please indicate any experience you have professionally or as a hobby that would assist you in performing in this type of environment.
