**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose and repair Printers / Copiers on site at customer locations. Respond to open service calls in a timely and professional manner. Provide update to customers with ETA for service calls
- Prepare and submit work orders to service center staff in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of activities, repairs, malfunctioning equipment, keep current inventory records.
- Refurbishing equipment at office location including but not limited to cleaning, performing preventative maintenance, ad hoc repairs, diagnosing service codes and fault.
- Physically move printer hardware when required - Single Function & Multi-Function devices (Print, Copy, Scan, Fax)
- Assist in delivery, install and setup of equipment at customer site. Equipment weight ranges from 30 pounds to 300 pounds.
- Available for overtime as required based on business needs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Job also entails refurbishing equipment through standardized process.
Qualifications:
- Possesses Valid SIN and is able to work in the Greater Toronto and Area
- Performs troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary on B-W, color and multifunctional devices
- Skilled ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, parts books and relevant publications
- Must have access to own vehicle along with Valid G License in good standing.
- Physical effort is required to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 400 pounds and be able to lift and carry objects that weigh up to 80 pounds. Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting when installing equipment, i.e. computers, controllers, color laser copiers, projectors, etc. Frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
Additional Skill requirements:
- Must have existing experience as a printer/copier technician
- Must have strong technical skills and aptitude.
- Valid Working Status in Canada
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
