**Job Summary**

**Position Background**:
The Site Foreman plays an essential role in the execution of complex tasks on a project site and the enhancement of Ketek’s field team. In a position meant to direct and influence, the Site Foreman is vital to the growth of the Projects Team and an important step in the employee’s career growth. The growth from Site Foreman to Site Supervisor is dependent upon personal interest, inclinations, and abilities.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Establish and promote excellent relationships through clear and accurate communication
- Take instruction from the Site Supervisor and/or act to ensure projects are completed in a safe manner, on time, and on budget
- Be a stakeholder in the development of the plan to complete a job and execute the job as planned
- Direct the routine maintenance and servicing of equipment in the field
- Use, clean, and maintain the different tools required at the worksite
- Represent Ketek in a light that is commensurate with the values of Management and the Corporate Mission Statement
- Mentor and coach new and inexperienced employees

**Required/Desired Education and Experience**:

- Knowledge of dewatering systems and/or pumping systems
- High School Diploma
- Valid class 5 driver's license with acceptable Driver's Abstract
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS, and PST)
- Oilfield experience
- Knowledge of HDPE fusing
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work with power construction tools
- Fluent in the English language (reading, written, spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent demanding deadlines
- Ability to handle changing schedules and priorities with high-level prioritization skills
- Intermediate leadership/mentoring skills
- High-level documentation skills

**Drug and alcohol testing and medical exam required**

**Working Conditions**:

- Be willing to and able work in remote locations for extended periods of time
- The work is both physically and mentally demanding
- Must work outside in all different weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat
- May be exposed to unpleasant sights and smells
- May at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose, and skin from irritation and infection
- Working closely with the skilled and experienced workers
- Working closely with clients and third-party contractors
- Working at heights and in confined spaces
- Expect to do a considerable amount of lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, and balancing, therefore a certain amount of strength, dexterity, and alertness is required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (required)
- Dewatering: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
