2025-146 Casual Property Caretaker - External

**Job Summary**:
The Property Caretaker functions as a resource to the Property Manager assisting with property maintenance of residential and office buildings. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping multiple buildings in a clean and orderly condition. All activities are carried out in support of the Agency’s mission, vision, values and strategic directions and in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma
- One (1) year of experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare related environment
- French Language proficiency considered an asset.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Organization skills to keep rooms, storage closets, and work van clean and organized
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a schedule while being flexible to prioritize tasks
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of mental health and addictions issues
- Required to provide a satisfactory criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening, prior to hire
- Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and have regular access to a reliable vehicle and provide proof of $2,000,000 vehicle insurance. Incumbent may be required to transport clients.
