Jumi Gozen Bar is a new Japanese gozen bar located near the Fairview Mall and the subway station. We offer a full-service dining, beverages sales, as well as take-out sushi. We offer seasonal menu, "gozen" style Japanese cuisine experience to our guests different from other Japanese restaurants. We are looking for part time and full time servers who will be responsible for taking orders and presenting food to our customers. Primary Duties include taking food and drink orders, and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected. **Server Responsibilities**: - Provide excellent table service - Explain seasonal menu offerings, make drink recommendations and answer menu questions - Maintain table appearance - Course food items appropriately - Perform side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks - Monitoring bar inventory and ordering supplies and ingredients when needed - Hiring and training new employees **Server Requirements**: - Prior serving experience required - Professional appearance - Knowledge about Japanese cuisine - Knowledge about wine and beverage pairings - Attention to detail **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time **Salary**: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Tips Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Weekend availability **Experience**: - serving: 1 year (preferred)
