Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in civil litigation matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, and agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Represent clients in court, mediations, or arbitrations
- Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver optimal legal solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry practices relevant to your practice area
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Good standing with the LSO
- Active membership in the CCLA
- Experience practicing civil litigation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and litigation skills
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Bilingualism is an asset (English/French or other languages)
