IT Project Manager

IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $18 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

**What You Will Do**:

- Collaborate with internal business and IT stakeholders, external stakeholders and vendors to build, manage and update project plans for a full range of project sizes, including complex, multi-year IT projects.
- Lead project teams to successfully deliver initiatives, following IO’s project management methodology, processes and practices.
- Prepare and lead regular project meetings for project teams and steering committees.
- Proactively manage risks and resolve issues through ongoing engagement with stakeholders.
- Provide reporting and support for IT’s project portfolio governance.
- Manage project budgets, including developing accurate project budgets, reporting on actuals and variances, and updating forecasts as needed.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Significant experience in project management of IT and organizational change initiatives.
- Experience managing infrastructure and technology implementations is an asset.
- Project Management Professional certification (e.g. PMP) is preferred.
- Stakeholder management experience in a dynamic organization.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required in order to present options and recommendation to senior level stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) and support tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Excel).

- The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $116,900
