Leading cannabis company is looking for a **Supply Chain Manager.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develops, leads and manages the Purchasing & Logistics strategy
- Maintains, re-evaluates and expands primary sources of supply while ensuring lower overall costs and availability to all markets
- Negotiates new and renewal contracts, including pricing, contract terms and conditions with focus on cost reductions
- Analyzes supply and freight costs to determine if adjustments are necessary
- Identifies and resolves problems originated from suppliers/vendors/distributors
- Ensures QA/QC compliance for new customers
- Builds and maintains relationships with distributors, stakeholders
- Manages inventory of products by reviewing requirements with our production sites, other vendors, and scheduling the logistics
- Works with vendors to ensure that all orders are released within the allotted time frame
- Implement systems to track supply chain management and maintain sufficient supplies of raw materials, and finished goods for all markets.
- Adheres to standard purchasing practices and principals
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Basic qualifications**:

- Minimum 4 years purchasing & logistics experience required
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, business or commerce
- Proficient in working with and discussing purchasing concepts with vendors
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
- Previous experience in inventory control and/or warehouse management system would be an asset
