Leduc, Canada Apollo Machine - Threading Facility Full time

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operates CNC lathe to cut Premium and API connections.
- Change jaws and set up cutting tools, inserts and other specialized equipment.
- Performs daily/weekly preventative equipment maintenance and cleanup of equipment
- Able to use precision hand held measuring instruments to verify that all aspects of the connections meet gauging specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring safety and SOP procedures are followed as per work instructions.
- Responsible for Quality Assurance in accordance to threading specifications as well as gauging procedures.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Complies with Apollo’s company policies including Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities**
- High school diploma.
- One to Two years in a similar role within an OCTG threading facility.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Process thinker, with high degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Have a positive approach to problem solving, with willingness to do what is needed.
- Be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Be able to work with little supervision
- A detail orientated individual who values accuracy and has high standards around his/her quality of work.
- Knowledge of OCTG premium connections, API 5CT, 5B, 7-1 / 7-2.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
