**Remote Work**:
This position is eligible for remote work, within **Calgary**, under our mobile workforce program.

The Coordinator, Accounts Payable is responsible for the invoicing of designated locations for WestJet Vacations, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable cycle. Strictly guided by internal controls, high standards are applied to safeguard all outgoing funds to ensure accuracy of records, data integrity, and required documentation are met. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is a strong team player that is goal driven to contribute to individual, team, and company success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review, verify and process high volumes of invoices in a timely manner
- Processes invoices in compliance with finance policies and procedures
- Manage and resolve invoice exceptions or queries with suppliers and/or internal business partners
- Validate and ensure early booking bonus payments are made in a timely manner
- Monitor and ensure all brochure contributions are recovered
- Processes payments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Work with suppliers and product team to ensure banking information is accurate
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Recommends process improvements to gain efficiency and reduce processing risk
- Be an active participant in related duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned (i.e., payment run)

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years full cycle Accounts Payable experience required
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Canadian /Provincial Taxes
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge and skills (O365, excel)
- Experience with Purchase Order invoices processisng
- Knowledge/experience with TTS/ SoftVoyage software (reservation system) an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative skills to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
- First rate accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical abilities
