To work closely with and support all areas of the Technical Service Team and our customers.To process all incoming return products from the field / customers to a safe state or condition for subsequent handling and processing in other areas.Provide Service Administration of Return products for servicing to ensure efficient processing of products.

**A Day in the Life
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Processes product returned to distribution, including data entry, inspection of the product and packaging condition and disposition of the product.
- Maintains a close working relationship with Customer Solutions and Business Units to insure that the appropriate disposition is completed properly.
- Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
- Collects, inspects, cleans, decontaminates, disinfects and/or sterilizes surgical instruments, trays and packs, reusable medical devices and patient care equipment for safe handling by Medtronic staff, customers and suppliers.
- Follow Medtronic qualified procedures for all product cleaning requirements
- Ensure efficient processing of products through decontamination room to ensure
minimum delays.
- Responsible for maintenance of equipment and supplies, record keeping and required equipment testing as specified.
- Report incidents of contamination with returned products to E.H.S. department and business representative
- Maintain clean sterile environment within the Decontamination area.
- Provide Service Administration for customer repairs and MOC loaner equipment, including documentation and tracking according to process procedures.
- Complete service work orders in system and maintain relevant documents.
- Manage inventory of loaners and efficient turnaround of maintenance and repairs to Business Unit as required.
- Manage the RPR process for explanted CRDM devices.
- Communicate with technicians, distribution, CSR and customers as required to ensure relevant information is communicated for efficient product flow.
- Maintain/update processes and procedures as required
- Process International and Domestic shipments for repair.
- Pre-Delivery Inspection Releas
- Assist with co-ordination of test equipment to vendors, Field and Depot staff
- Process battery recharge
- Process DCST items
- Process Smart Sync tablets
- Process Diabetes returns
- Assist with inventory of spare part
- Other duties as assigned.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Some years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience **SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**
- Knowledge of surgical and medical equipment and terminology
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions & procedures.
- Knowledge of Sterile Processing equipment
- Mathematical & Technical aptitude. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills (teamwork)
- Displays initiative
- Strong coordination ability
- Able to perform repetitive tasks in a stressful environment
- Sound computer skills
- WHMIS training
- Works well in a fast-paced changing priority environment
