Tradex Convention Center is under new management and is located in Abbotsford, BC. Tradex is the second largest facility of its kind in Abbotsford. We host a diverse range of events from corporate meetings, sporting events, trade and consumer shows, film and entertainment events, and concerts.

What you will be doing

  • Studying recipes, setting up menus, preparing dishes.
  • Following policies, procedures and setting standard portion sizes.
  • Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the menu.
  • Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out.
  • Working with a team of cooks and delegating tasks to back of house kitchen staff.
  • Work with the kitchen staff to ensure catering orders prepared on time and accurate.
  • Ensure food is cooked at the highest possible standard.
  • Provide and maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment.
  • Follow all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Stock various product.
  • Assist with maintaining a pre and post event inventory for all kitchen food and product.
