**Your role**:
This position performs environmental monitoring and microbiology tasks. The incumbent reviews complex analytical results.

**What your days would look like**:

- Perform microbiological analyses (biological content determination, endotoxin treatment, TOC, growth performance) related to stability testing, routine and non-routine activities, and method development/validation
- Perform environmental monitoring tasks to ensure that GMP production areas meet the required standards and requirements
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Act as an expert in various methods
- Perform data entry and record preparation for quality control programs
- Review data for complex analyses (pH, conductivity, biological content, etc.)
- Maintain laboratory equipment according to quality control procedures
- Contribute to the technical writing of procedures, protocols, and reports
- Prepare and provide QC managers with timely and reliable assessments and reports on assigned projects and quality indicators
- Lead problem-solving exercises to determine root causes
- Implement validation protocols

**Required profile**:

- Associate degree or DEC in a relevant discipline
- 4 to 6 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience in training a team
- Advanced written and spoken French / intermediate-advanced written and spoken English (English documentation and collaboration with our US facility)
- Available to work briefly in the evening or on weekends more or less 10 times a year
- Must have means of transport to travel to three different facilities in Quebec City
