Feedlot Worker

**Bouvry Exports** is hiring **Feedlot Workers **for our **Prime Feedlot **located near **Granum, AB. **We are looking for an “all round” farm hand to join our feedlot crew. We require someone with a great attitude who likes to be outdoors, can work with horses, cattle, and bison. Primary duty will be daily feeding of both feedlot & pasture locations.**Y_ou provide_** your own vehicle, a great work ethic and the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Our plant is located on the east side of Fort Macleod only 30 minutes from Lethbridge or Claresholm

**Compensation & Hours**:
*$18-23 an hour, depending on experience

*Typically Monday thru Friday some Saturdays

as required)

*Shared Benefit package after 3 months

*Occasionally overtime

**Position Summary**:
Daily feeding of both feedlot & pasture locations as needed

Processing & sorting of animals which may include: horse, bison & cattle

Bedding

Monitoring feed rations and tracking on feed program

Record keeping which includes but not limited to animal arrivals, movements, illness & injury, treatment records

Repairing/fixing fences &/or pens as needed

Cleaning & maintenance of waters

Yard maintenance including general tidiness of each facility

Assist in construction projects from time to time as needed

Minimum 1-3 years feedlot experience

The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Strong work ethic; great attitude who likes to be outdoors

Versatile and able to work independently, as well as, part of a team

Self-motivated and adaptable to change

Decision making and problem solving ability

A proven knowledge of working feedlot operations

**Required Qualifications**:
Must hold either Class I or Class III Alberta Driver’s License

Have your own mode of transportation
