triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a **Finance Coordinator** to join our team at the Mississauga Campus Support Centre.

**Major Purpose and Objective of the Position**:
The major purpose of this role is to work with campus staff, processing all student withdrawals.

**Reporting to**: Controller

**Direct Reports**: None

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process program changes and withdrawals
- Complete financial calculations for all student withdrawals and terminations, ensuring timely and accurate communication with campus staff.
- Process appropriate credits to student’s accounts in MS Dynamics Great Plains (GP). Submit requests for refund cheques in a timely manner.
- Prepare cover letters for refund cheques.
- Ensure all program changes and withdrawals and administered in compliance with all regulations.
- Ensure that timely and accurate information is provided to campus staff and students.
- Reset student payment plans.
- Marketing Purchase Orders:

- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to the Marketing departments originating
- Coordinate with the marketing team and vendors to ensure accuracy in preparing the purchase orders.
- Communicate with the accounts payable team and ensure that the purchase orders are prepared in a timely basis in MS Dynamics Great Plains (GP).

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Computerized accounting software.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English communication, oral and written, skills are essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
- Strong teamwork ability.
- Self-directed; high level of initiative.
- Strong organizational, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills.
- Time management: scheduling of workflow.

**Experience**:
**Formal education and training**
- A degree/ diploma in finance is recommended

**Work Experience**
- Accounting and book keeping experience

**KEY RELATIONSHIPS cont.**:

- Manager of Accounts Receivable
- Controller
- Regulatory Officer
- Vice President of Finance and Administration

External Relationships
- The National Student Loans Centre - loan processing staff and default management communications staff.
- Work directly with external auditors in relation to compliance and financial audits.

**DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY**:

- Deciding when to escalate student file or audit issues.

**Hours of Work**:
This position is a full-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

**Start Date**:
The scheduled start for this opportunity is immediate.
