Right now, we are loading up our rocket ship and are looking for an Accounting Technician
** **to join us as we take flight. In this role, you will help with a wide array of accounting objectives. With your attention to detail, experience with all elements of accounting, and knowledge of QuickBooks, you will make an immediate impact to our small but mighty accounting team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle bookkeeping for both CPOS Inc and intercompany
- Prepare reconciliation of bank balances and credit card transactions
- Manage GST/HST and QST fillings as well as month-end and quarterly reviews
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes
- Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
- Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data - Preparation of working paper files for financial statements
- Preparation of financial statements and notes
- Other duties and responsibilities as and when required

**What we are looking for**:

- Two to four years experience of bookkeeping
- Knowledge and working experience with QuickBooks is mandatory
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger - Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the client's business and maintain client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience:

- QuickBooks: 2 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Willingness and ability to learn.
