Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000/year

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Manager - Public Company** with a strong background in external audit for public company clients. This role is ideal for a Canadian CPA with proven leadership experience, deep technical expertise in US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS, and a passion for delivering high-quality client service. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a talented team, manage complex engagements, and work in a flexible hybrid environment in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage audit engagements for public company clients, ensuring compliance with Canadian and US standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of ~6 professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Review financial statements, disclosures, and working papers for accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement planning, budgets, and timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Canadian CPA designation** (mandatory).
- 5+ years of external audit experience with public company clients at a Canadian CPA firm.
- At least 1-2 years of team management experience.
- Current work experience in a CPA firm in Canada.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS.
- Based in Vancouver with ability to work on a hybrid schedule.

Preferred Background
- Experience from **Big 4 firms** (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte).
- Experience from **mid-sized or national firms** (Grant Thornton, MNP, RSM, etc.).

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
