**Position Overview**:
**The Logistics Coordinator**manages the flow of goods to ensure efficiency, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness**.**This is accomplished through the following responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with departments throughout the organization to support the company's entire logistics activities.

2. Collaborate with the Warehouse and Quality departments to relay quality-related issues and ensure the warehouse team is informed of any product holds, rejections, or special handling instructions.

3. Troubleshoot issues with customs brokers, providing commercial documents to ensure the release of all international or cross-border freight.

4. Communicate shipping status and logistics updates to internal teams and customers as needed.

5. Reconcile freight invoices against quoted rates and actual deliveries.

6. Accurately input freight costs, notes, customer appointment information and other relevant logistics data into the ERP system.

7. Manage 3PL activities, including tracking inventories, scheduling delivery and pickup appointments, reconciling invoices, preparing, reviewing, and filing shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, customs paperwork, etc.).

8. Maintain shipment logs, freight cost records, and KPI data for reporting purposes.

9. Troubleshoot delivery issues that arise and then liaise with the carrier to develop solutions to mitigate any problems.

10. Keep office space, computer files, equipment and procedure manuals organized and current.

11. Assist in compiling documents for audits or customer reviews.

12. Be familiar with and have regard for SQF, HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Food Safety, Food Security, Organic Certification, Standard Operating Procedures and all other applicable regulatory and company programs and policies.

13. Identify possible improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs or improve operational efficiency.

14. As needed, work with carriers daily to ensure loads are picked up, set up for customs clearance, tracked and traced until final delivery.

15. Other duties may be assigned to the Employee from time to time.

**Rate of Pay: $23.00 per hour**
