Our animal hospital is conveniently located at the exit of Larry Uteck Drive with the Bicentennial Highway, near Bayers Lake. Living and working in Bedford, NS, we are surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and warm people, with a strong community spirit. Bedford is a suburban area that is about a 2-hour drive away from Halifax. We enjoy living in such a peaceful and welcoming region that was once named by Macleans magazine as the “Best Community to Live in Canada.”

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Client Care Representative/Receptionist to join our fast-paced small animal practice.

**Job Description**:
Maintain and update client records in our practice management software

Manage referrals and patient follow ups

Communicating with our clients

Administrative duties

**Job Requirements**:
Be comfortable handling animals

Have excellent customer service skills

Experience in the Veterinary field

Ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm

Proactive and take initiatives to work effectively without supervision

Must be able to prioritize your workload and make fast decisions

Able to problem solve and multitask

Able to work independently

**Experience**:

- Reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Veterinary Assistant Certificate(preferred)
