**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Lead Hand / Foreman with a strong background in natural stone and wet lay hardscape installations. This role is ideal for a skilled individual who can lead high-quality projects involving patios, walkways, retaining walls, and driveways using both dry lay and wet lay methods.

You will work closely with the landscape designer to ensure that all installations meet design specifications and exceed client expectations. **Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, and other hardscape elements with a focus on **natural stone** and **wet lay techniques**:

- Collaborate with the landscape designer to ensure alignment with design and construction standards
- Install various hardscape materials including flagstone, armor stone, granite, limestone, and concrete
- Operate and maintain hardscape equipment (e.g., skid steers, compactors, excavators)
- Uphold high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment
- Provide mentorship and training to crew members in both traditional and modern hardscaping methods

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hardscaping, with **proven expertise in natural stone and wet lay installations**:

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in landscaping is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape materials, installation techniques, and drainage systems.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and compactors.
- Ability to read and interpret hardscape designs and blueprints.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Clean G class driver’s license (driver’s abstract required).
- A, AZ or DZ license is an asset.
- ICPI Certification is an asset.
