The **Accounts Payable Specialist** is responsible for processing and submitting all Company invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Process a high volume of PO and Non-PO invoices with accuracy. Validate invoices against PO or approval workflow for payment processing
- Process employee expense reports with accuracy ensuring payment within a timely manner
- Reconcile and post credit card statements biweekly
- Prepare and process all payments (EFT, ACH, Wire, Cheques) within payment terms
- Resolve invoice discrepancies accordingly with vendor or internal business partners
- Responsible for following invoices through authorization process, ensuring appropriate party approves invoice
- Manage all vendor accounts; reconcile vendor statements
- Complete month end Accounts Payable close in a timely manner ensuring outstanding invoices are accrued at month end
- Assist Controller with AP reconciliations and analysis
- Perform daily bank reconciliation for CAD & USD accounts
- Provide supporting documentation for audits as required
- Backup Accounts Receivables Representative as required
- Suggest and participate in all improvement and efficiency projects within the department
- Assist with duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- College certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting
- 2+ years Experience in Accounts Payable
- Prior experience with large ERP systems, Navision or Business Central preferred
- Strong computer skills (excel, outlook)
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast paced environment and able to meet numerous deadlines within assigned time frame
- Ability to work well within a team and independently

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
