Island Basement Systems will provide you with all necessary safety equipment. We pay for travel and provide bonuses for those really nasty crawlspace cleanups.

You will spend most of your time in crawl spaces and basements, so you must be comfortable in enclosed spaces and be able to easily maneuver within small spaces. In addition, you will have some experience or natural ability to interact positively with our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the installation of foundation repair work, waterproofing systems, crack injection repairs, and sump pumps, etc.
- Assisting during the installation of spray foam insulation
- Removing batt insulation, debris, rotten wood, etc. from crawlspaces, basements, and attics.
- Working with the crew manager to complete the project successfully
- Cleaning up rodent debris, moldy materials, etc.

**Qualifications**
- The ability to positively interact with clients.
- Good time management & the ability to organize your work to meet deadlines
- The ability to achieve expected levels of quality workmanship
- Proven punctuality and dependability
- A reasonably clean Class 5 license
- The ability to work in small areas such as crawlspaces and attics
- Basic construction knowledge and skills
- Effective communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate in English
- The ability to work on an iphone/Mac

Island Basement Systems is a full-service home improvement company specializing in basement waterproofing, crawl space repairs, and sump pump installation. Since 2003, we have provided home improvements from the basement to the attic. Starting as a tiny home-based location in Squamish, BC, we are now an expanding operation with three locations, and working on a fourth location. Twelve staff, and $3M in sales in 2023.

**Benefits**

Standard company benefits package is provided after three months for those eligible.

**Salary**: $25-26/hour starting, with at least one year of construction or renovation experience
