**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Stay up to date with MTO regulations and ensure compliance
- Identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability.
- Update and maintain PCVL
- Attend scheduled court appointments to address and settle CVOR issues, infractions, points, fines and other related issues.
- Assist in achieving the objectives of the pickup and delivery (P&D) operation. STOPS PER HOUR
- Effectively communicate driver complaints to the appropriate parties.
- Participate in recruitment activities and carrying out road tests to potential drivers
- Train all drivers on paperwork, policies, procedures, equipment and day-to-day expectations.
- Train drivers on road technology
- Perform a vehicle audit inspections with all new drivers to ensure they are familiar with procedures
- Familiarize drivers with all equipment they will use throughout the day (rolling racks, two-wheelers,, and hand held device etc.).
- Familiarize new drivers with all procedures such as customer relations, check-in and checkout procedures, delivery and pickup procedures, and communication procedures.
- Perform the fueling procedure with drivers and ensure they know where the fueling stations are located along with the appropriate paperwork.
- Carry out spot checks on drivers while they are on the road; checking for correct paperwork, while observing their driving habits, time management skills and customer relations using our company tools
- Follow up and take action on all road accidents and toll charges and monitor driver parking and traffic tickets (eg. going to court and fighting tickets etc.)

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- The ability to be assertive and make logical decisions
- Experience in a driver trainer / safety compliance role
- Strong transportation industry knowledge
