Position: Manager of Catalog Data
Location: Onsite Kanata, Ontario
About Us:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strong Catalog Data Management:
- Lead and manage the aftermarket auto parts catalog, ensuring data precision and currency.
- Establish and uphold data entry protocols and standards.
- Regularly update product descriptions, specifications, images, and data.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit exceptional people management skills, including hiring, training, and firing, ensuring a high-performing team.
2. Data Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth data research and analysis.
- Identify and rectify data disparities and inconsistencies.
- Engage with suppliers and industry stakeholders for detailed product data.
- Stay updated with industry trends and product breakthroughs.
- Utilize SQL proficiency for advanced data analysis and reporting.
3. Data Enhancement and Optimization:
- Continuously improve catalog data for user experience and sales.
- Enhance product specifics, compatibility insights, and cross-referencing.
- Optimize catalog data for SEO.
- Improve product grouping, filtration, and navigation.
- Perform data cleansing to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the catalog.
4. Strong Quality Assurance and Data Integrity:
- Maintain high data quality benchmarks.
- Develop data validation and authentication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with IT and data departments for issue resolution.
- Respond to customer feedback regarding catalog data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in catalog data management, preferably in the automotive parts sector.
- Knowledge of ACES and PIES standards.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, including team leadership, personnel management, hiring, and firing.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in data cleansing.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
