Join our team in our mission to continue to put patients and families at the centre of everything we do, in the role of CT/Angio Technologist.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs Computed Tomography and Interventional procedures to produce imaging and high quality diagnostic radiographs via practice of radiation safety procedures and adherence to a strict code of aseptic techniques.Provides optimum patient care and demonstrates a professional manner in the work setting.Actively participates in team building concepts, and development of departmental goals.Operates and maintains equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests.Participates in teaching and training students and hospital employees, and communicates with Clinical Coordinator on student progress/problems.Organizes, prioritizes and co-ordinates scheduling of procedures, communicates verbally with appropriate personnel re: procedure types, lab results, equipment failures, policies and procedures.Assists, instructs, and educates patients prior to, during, and after procedure.Assists nurses/radiologist with patient and room preparation and clean up.Assists in gathering and coding requisitions, maintaining records and data entry. Manipulates, archives and stores medical images.QUALIFICATIONS: Registration and good standing with the college of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.Recent CT and/or Interventional experience an asset.Excellent interpersonal,
