Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Geoscientist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation Services team in one of our Northeastern Ontario offices.

**A Day in the life of a Geoscientist at Pinchin**:

- Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists/technicians performing general geotechnical responsibilities
- Conduct materials testing and inspection services during construction
- Assist senior staff with the completion of geotechnical investigations which will include both field and office-based work
- Develop technical skills by assisting the senior staff with various geotechnical analyses
- Assist senior staff with the preparation of technical proposals and reports
- Liaise with clients and contractors
- Develop business development skills to continue to foster existing client relationships and build new ones

**What you bring to the Pinchin team**:

- A degree or diploma in a related discipline, preferably in civil, geological or geotechnical engineering
- C.E.T. or E.I.T. designations or working towards will be considered an asset
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- CCIL Concrete certification considered an asset
- Working knowledge of various geotechnical instrumentation, survey methods and materials testing will be considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to travel for work within Northeast Ontario. Occasional travel within Ontario, other jurisdictions and provinces may be required
- Availability to work outside of core business hours
