**Employee Recruiter & HR Administrator**
**Reports to**:Management
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions.
- Manage job postings, interview schedules, and job offer processes.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs and job specifications.
**Employee Documentation & Paperwork**:
- Handle all employee-related filings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate employee records (e.g., contracts, onboarding forms, performance reviews, etc.).
- Process new hire paperwork, including, tax forms, benefits enrollment, and other required documents.
- Manage employee leave of absence paperwork, including medical leaves.
- Ensure all documents are filed correctly and stored securely.
**General HR Administration**:
- Assist with employee benefits administration, ensuring enrollment, updates, and accuracy.
- Coordinate employee performance reviews, training, and development initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to paperwork, benefits, and recruitment processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employee documentation requirements and HR compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other HR tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, self-starter who is highly organized and deadline-driven.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- HR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance regulations.
- Safety compliance knowledge
- Payroll experience
**Job Information**:
Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Work Location: In person / West Edmonton location
