**Title**: Scale House Operator / Receptionist

**Location**: Port Perry

**Shift**: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm

**Pay Rate**: $20.00

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Scale House Operator / Receptionist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act
- Operating the weigh scales and scale software efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy of tickets and cash transactions.
- Maintain positive employee and customer relations.
- Maintaining workplace confidentiality.
- Administrative and general support; data entry/record keeping, scheduling, filing, month end reconciling.
- Maintain Office and Shop Supply Inventories.
- Dispatching support; dispatches drivers to calls as they are received; assign routes and call-ins to appropriate drivers throughout the day/the next day.
- Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a computerized environment and must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook with exceptional organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
