**Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for negotiation and a passion for ensuring seamless contractual agreements? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Contract Specialist to join our team**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Contractual Support**:

- Provide expert advice and support on various agreements to management, estimating, and project management staff. This includes contracts related to rental equipment, towing, office services, leases, capital purchases, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), land leases, and proposals.
- Analyze potential risks associated with specific contract terms.
- Proactively identify risks and mitigate issues to avoid claims and optimize project execution.
- Create standard language for both existing and new contracts.
- Manage complex, high-risk commercial issues across contracts, including disputes, negotiations, and claims.

**Tender and Project Monitoring**:

- Track and maintain records of all ongoing tenders, ensuring timely updates and compliance with submission deadlines.
- Keep comprehensive logs of awarded and pending projects, highlighting key milestones and deadlines.

**Document Archiving and Record Management**:

- Organize, archive, and maintain all commercial department documentation, including tenders, projects, agreements, and contracts.
- Ensure all records are up-to-date, easily accessible, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

**Insurance and Bonding Administration**:

- Manage insurance and bonding requirements for projects, tenders, and agreements.
- Monitor policy renewals and updates to ensure alignment with project timelines and client requirements.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and bonding companies to obtain necessary certifications.

**Administrative Support**:

- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders during contract negotiation and execution stages.
- Support the commercial team by preparing reports, summaries, and status updates on projects and contracts.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, insurance coverage, and bonding terms.
- Identify potential risks in agreements and assist in resolving commercial issues or disputes.

**Process Optimization**:

- Contribute to improving administrative processes, filing systems, and workflows within the commercial department.
- Ensure that document templates, insurance certificates, and bonding records are standardized and consistently applied.

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of experience in contract administration within a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including service and consultant agreements, and CCDC and CCA standard documents.
- Advanced understanding of contractual and technical terms, and construction insurance and bonding requirements.

**Skills/Abilities/Attributes**:

- Excellent communication skills, including superior negotiation, writing, proofreading, and editorial skills.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Collaborative, with effective relationship-building and clear communication at all business levels.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to various situations, and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Commitment to ethical business conduct and handling sensitive information with trust.
- A dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Critical and analytical thinking, assertiveness, and persistence.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

**What We Offer**
- ** Competitive base salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year.**:
