**Missions and Responsibilities**

The shop administration role is a permanent position based out of the Sherwood Park office and will provide inventory management, administrative, and clerical support for Western Process Industries operations. The position is responsible for the following:

- Track and maintain inventory systems to minimize component lead times.
- Assist in procurement process, including order entry and administrative follow up to ensure optimal management of supplier accounts.
- Check availability of items to be issued or shipped by confirming inventory records or conducting a spot check of inventory for required items.
- Shipping and receiving parts. Performing receiving inspections in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate the movement of incoming and outgoing assets in the facility yard.
- Accurately file and retrieve quality control documents.
- Complete data entry for a variety of office functions; analyze the discrepancies and make appropriate recommendations.
- Contribute to achieving your department’s goals by maximizing resource utilization.
- Prepare and issue monthly summary reports to management.
- Perform various monthly administrative duties including employee expense reports, overdue task tracking, basic forecasting, etc.
- Ensure that proper corrective and preventive measures are in place to address customer issues or complaints.
- Actively promote ALC’s safety objectives. Know and respect procedures indicated in ALC’s Quality Manual. Ensure that proper corrective and preventative actions are in place.

**Competencies and Profile**
- Combination of education and relevant experience;
- Professional with strong planning and problem solving skills;
- Self motivated and able to produce quality, error-free work in a busy environment
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills,
- Effective interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs suites
- Previous experience with ORACLE would be an asset.
