The Brandt Group of Companies continues to grow significantly in all lines of business and the Real Estate Development team is looking for an individual to support our growing portfolio. If you are a natural leader, a dynamic self-starter, motivated to succeed, with strong experience in lease administration, as well as property reporting, this role is a great opportunity for you to join the Brandt Real Estate team.
As a valued member of Brandt’s Real Estate Team, the Property Administrator will report directly to the Property Administration Manager, the role will cover all aspects related to property administration for Brandt’s property portfolio. This role is located in Regina, Saskatchewan.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Administer the property management system for the Brandt Real Estate portfolio
- Create lease abstracts, prepare leases for execution and distribution to appropriate parties
- Assist with preparation and provide input of property budgets
- Provide support and information to Brandt management in the preparation of variance analysis, quarterly reports, forecasting, and budgeting
- Assist in preparing tenant operating cost reconciliations and verify accuracy prior to year-end billing
- Manage the accrual process. Periodically follow up on outstanding POs and identifying expenses to be accrued at year-end
- Update, maintain and audit all tenant information, including lease profiles, to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and coordinate initial rent letter and rent notices to all tenants
- Resolve tenant operating cost issues. Reply to tenant inquiries regarding operating costs and other payments
- Complete Real Estate accounts payable. Liaise with Accounting in relation to property revenues/expenses, etc.
- Coordination of tenant move in/move out activities and documentation
- Provide commercial and analytical support on key corporate projects and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Skills**:
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to cope with changing client needs and deliver successful results within time frame and in a professional manner
- Ability to set clear objectives and deliverables. Working both independently and as part of a team.
- Capability of interpreting required information from a variety of lease formats
- Capacity to achieve high output while working toward deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Required Experience
- A university degree or college diploma in commerce, business, or administration
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management/lease administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
