Warehouse Supervisor Career Opportunity

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking an **Warehouse Supervisor** for our Logistics Team within our **Thunder Bay Store** located at **1156 Alloy Drive.**

As an Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the flow of product through the effective utilization of resources and the implementation of departmental objectives to meet the strategic, competitive and internal needs of the company while ensuring exceptional customer service.

As an Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

- Maintain effective staff levels by recruiting, selecting, training and retaining employees
- Maintain productivity through coaching, counselling and disciplining employees
- Assist in preparation of annual operating budget and manage variances through financial statement analysis.
- Optimize the flow of product through the Distribution Center
- Ensure proper maintenance of the facilities & equipment to maintain warehouse productivity, safety and efficiency.
- Ensure clear communication between warehouse and other operating departments, including stores
- Execute all aspects of successful inventory management
- Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules
- Effective decision making, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to build high performing work teams
- Direct and motivate subordinates in a dynamic work environment
- Customer focused
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
