Customer Service Associate

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Engage in upselling and merchandising to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize retail math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and sales reporting.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Experience in retail sales with knowledge of grocery store operations preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and product displays.
- Supervising experience is beneficial for leading team efforts effectively.
