Conducts electrocardiogram, Echocardiogram and Stress Echocardiogram and Contrast studies by using electronic test equipment, recording devices, and laboratory instruments.
- Establishing I/V line for contrast. Ensuring the conclusion and findings on the report are the same as written by the Cardiologist.
- Maintains cardiology equipment and supplies by cleaning and adjusting equipment; performing preventive maintenance; reporting equipment malfunctions; maintaining supply inventory levels; completing and placing supply requisitions.
- Maintains quality results by following standards, protocols and procedures; submitting reports.
- Informing manager or clinic supervisor if any patient needs immediate or urgent attention.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Maintaining valid license and certification by CMRITO.
- Serves and protects the health care facility by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures.
