GreenFirst is looking for seasoned credit professionals interested in supporting the financial administration of a new and exciting Forest Products Company. As part of an integrated Finance Team, you will be responsible for all activities related to the payments to ensure GreenFirst revenue is received in a timely manner and accurately reported.
**Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, you will**:
- Identify and collect on past due accounts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Produce a weekly DSO report for Management personnel.
- Maintain electronic storage system for past and current AR documentation. Store other documentation accordingly.
- Provide relief coverage for Credit Associate
- Investigate, prepare and recommend credit limits for annual reviews on customers by adhering to company policies.
- Ensure all pertinent information received on customers are communicated to proper individuals and reflected correctly within IT systems.
- Coordinate credit limits between mill sites using IT systems, spreadsheets and files.
- Recommend ways to reduce days receivable outstanding and total receivables.
- Monitor and assist with IT testing of ERP system upgrades.
**You will need**:
In additional to being bilingual in English and French, Bachelors degree business. 2-5 years of progressive work experience in a credit or related field. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business contacts. Some understanding of financial statements and ratios analysis. Strong Microsoft Office 365 experience. SAP experience. Accuracy and attention to detail.Strong customer service is at your core along with exceptional interpersonal skills and a high degree of initiative.
