Toronto, Canada Education Perfect Full time

Education Perfect are looking for experienced, passionate elementary numeracy educators to support the planning, evaluation and alignment of summative numeracy assessments for the Ontario Curriculum.

In this project-based role, you will be responsible for mapping an existing bank of assessment questions to the Ontario Curriculum, while identifying any gaps or adaptations needed. We are offering $1000CAD per strand for this opportunity.

This opportunity might suit you if:

- You are experienced at analysing curriculum documents and content resources;
- You have a minimum of three years experience teaching Grades 1-8 Mathematics in Ontario;
- You can commit to working 15 hours a week during May;
- You are confident working with technology.

Employment will be contract-based, and you'll enjoy flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, with no special equipment or software required. You’ll also benefit from ongoing support from our fantastic Australian-based Education Perfect Content Team.

**Key Competencies**
- **Mathematical Reasoning** - Uses mathematical pedagogy to recognise universal concepts across international numeracy curriculums.
- **Information Management** - Navigate an Australian database and dev site to gather and collate summative assessment questions against the Ontario curriculum.
- **Attention to Detail** - Is thorough when performing work and meticulous when exhausting avenues of review.
- **Analysis** - Uses data and information in clear and systematic ways to evaluate options and draw conclusions about accurate content matches and targeted gaps.
- **Accountability** - Accepts personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work. Can be relied upon to achieve results with little need for supervision.
