HOME TOWN HEROES NEEDED for Long Term Care home
- **STUDENT Friendly **_(only require Public Health Food Handler Certificate)

Duties include but not limited to: setting/clearing tables, plating meals for residents, preparing coffee/tea, snack cart; warewashing, garbage removal, sweeping/mopping.

**Must be able to read, write and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.**

Must demonstrate proper food preparation and presentation for a variety of cultural preferences.

**Must be knowledge of the Long Term Care Act**

**Must be knowledgeable of special, therapeutic, and texture modified diets**

**Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift.**

**Must be able to work accurately, quickly, and safely.**

**Must be an effective team player that works well with others.**

**Must be able to work and communicate effectively with long-term care residents.**

Wage rate: As per Collective Agreement
- t_**ransportation/car required - public transit limited**_._

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.56-$17.25 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
Frequent heavy cleaning throughout the day for prevention. Staff and Visitors are screened upon entry and exit. Sanitizer, Face Masks and gloves provided as required.
Rapid Antigen Testing daily.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manitoulin, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
