**JOB SUMMARY**

Maintains and controls incoming and outgoing materials and other supplies from the stock room. Checks and signs for all deliveries.

**RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH PERFORMING THE JOB**
- Receives all shipments from suppliers including unpacking, checking quantities, description and other specifications to the packing slip and/or purchase order to ensure goods received agree with what was shipped.
- Responsible for safe and proper storage of materials in stock room.
- Serves those who are withdrawing raw materials from stock room on a daily basis.
- Releases products required by production and maintains accurate inventory on a daily basis.
- Drives the forklift to unload skids of materials and chemicals as required.
- General cleaning duties.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor or Manager.

**SKILL/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB**
- As a minimum, 12 years of general education is required and 3 months on-the-job training
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic computations is required in counting and checking inventory received and releasing any products to the floor for production.
- Ability to operate hand truck, fork lift, and company vehicle.
- Must be able to communicate, cooperate and work effectively with others
- Basic computer skills

**PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFORT REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB**
- A physically demanding job as considerable lifting and carrying materials, pushing, and pulling the hand truck, sitting on fork lift, walking, reaching, bending, etc. is required during the day.
- Frequent periods of intense concentration of up to 1 hour are required when checking received materials and goods or when releasing a job package which requires arithmetic computation to determine quantities of each type of material to be used.

**WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB**
- Exposed to many variable elements such as noise, chemical fumes, interruptions, and congestion while working in the stock room and shop floor.
- Exposed to a minor amount of risk of injury from working with heavy items, fork lift, and company vehicle.
- Work involved a high degree of visual attention.
