Winnipeg, Canada Norwood Nursery School Full time

Norwood Nursery School is currently seeking energetic and dedicated individuals for the position of Nursery School Substitute. As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to work with preschool, nursery, and school-age children in our licensed facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Supervise children during scheduled activities, including playtime, snack time, and naptime
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to provide high-quality, engaging experiences for children

**Requirements**:

- must be 18 years old
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Must provide a clear criminal background check and child abuse registry check

Work Schedule and Compensation:
This position offers casual hours ranging from 0-40 per week, depending on need and availability. The pay range for this position is $16.05-$17.17 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
