We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated **Assistant Manager** to help lead our weekend operations and support the team in delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for every customer.

**Job Summary**

As the **Assistant Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations during shifts. You’ll support the team in delivering outstanding customer service, ensure smooth workflow, and uphold our standards in quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has leadership experience in the food or hospitality industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise staff and daily operations
- Open and/or close the store according to procedures
- Ensure high standards of customer service and product quality
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
- Manage inventory and supplies during your shift
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and daily cash-outs
- Respond to customer concerns or issues professionally and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards throughout the store
- Early morning baking and food prep (following store recipes and baking schedules)

**Requirements**:

- 1+ year experience in a supervisory or lead role (preferably in a café or hospitality setting)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (mandatory)
- Barista experience is an asset, but training can be provided
