As the Director of 24/7 Programs, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Boyle Street Community Services' round-the-clock operations, including multiple housing sites, crisis diversion, and emergency response initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring continuous, high-quality support for vulnerable populations across diverse programs. The Director will drive innovation in service delivery, foster a cohesive organizational culture, and maintain strong partnerships to enhance the effectiveness of 24/7 services. "We stand with our clients, side by side, patiently and for as long as they want - a constant and consistent caring force." **Position Responsibilities** - 24-7 Program Management: Plan and oversee operations at multiple housing sites, ensuring safe and supportive environments while adhering to best practices in housing-first and harm reduction approaches. - Crisis Diversion Team (CDT) and Emergency Response Coordination: Program panning and management that ensures rapid and effective response to crisis and emergency situations throughout Edmonton. - Strategic Leadership across programs under purview including staffing, development, and budget that ensures financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation that aligns to the overall plan for BSCS. - Partnership Development: Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and relevant government agencies. BSCS is more than a workplace. It is a community where everyone helps and contributes to the whole, and there is an expectation that all employees will take part in events (during the work week and occasionally during weekends and evenings). This includes fundraising campaigns, running community meals, medicine picking etc. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Social Work, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field - Strong desire to walk in Indigenous ways of knowing and being, and to learn from trusted Elders and Knowledge Keepers. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in social services or related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector and Child and Youth Intervention Check completed within the past six months - Valid First Aid certificate - Extensive experience managing 24/7 operations, crisis management and/or emergency response coordination, preferably in a social services or healthcare setting. - Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
