Edmonton, Canada Innovation Physio - West Henday Full time

Innovation Physical Therapy is looking for an experienced and self motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team.

You’ll be working closely with the Business Controller, Director and District Managers; for multiple clinics. This role is heavily accounting based and experience with intercompany transactions would be an asset.

**Accounting Assistant Responsibilities**:
Intercompany transfers - billing, filing and tracking
Accounts payable - cheques, credit cards, online transfers
Accounts receivable - input into QuickBooks
Credit card reconciliations
MVA invoicing
Income reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
AR and collections - collecting, reporting, applying
Manage multiple working papers and trackers
Inventory purchases and transfers tracking
Attending in clinic team meetings
Travel to clinics as needed
Coverage duties as required: payroll, source deductions, cash flow forecasting, ROEs.
Other tasks as required

**Skills and Requirements needed for the Accounting Assistant**:
Previous accounting experience is required
Intercompany transactions experience would be an asset
Experience with multiple subsidiaries would be an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional writing skills, appearance and attitude
Strong computer and Microsoft excel skills
Extremely high levels of confidentiality is required
Entry to intermediate level understanding of accounting processes
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work alone and as a team is important

**Working Hours**:
8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. OT as required. Remote work is **not** available.
